Commercial landscaping – first impressions count
The very first view of your building all your visitors experience is from the outside, so it’s important that your exterior spaces reflect your company’s values. Equally, your premises are where your employees spend a great deal of their lives, so why not maximise what’s available to create spaces that enhance that working day just a little?
At Ann-Marie Powell Gardens, we take time to understand your sites requirements, your daily activities and the needs of your clients and staff. We often work with architects, property developers, interior designers and contractors, and we have a deep interest in hard landscape design, so we can design for visual impact and practicality combined. We can reinvigorate neglected spaces, create roof gardens, provide sunny terraces, and even enhance the look of smoking areas and car parks.

Planting schemes for planning permission
We offer innovative and visually striking planting schemes and landscape designs for architects and developers, either for new build projects or rejuvenation of existing properties. We can create attractive, practical, cost-effective planting schemes and design schemes to present in accordance with planning permission applications. We can create 3D visuals of each scheme, or our in house team can create a 3D Visual or CGI that will engage planning officials and potential buyers or tenants alike.
Urban landscape and public space design
We work with local authorities and councils to transform public spaces, parks, and public buildings through innovative, imaginative landscape design and planting schemes. Our expertise in hard landscape design and the incorporate of sustainable materials used in unusual ways ensures that we produce effective working designs, including 3D visuals, design elevations, plant schedules and maintenance plans. We’ve also been involved in a number of hospice, community garden projects and school gardens, so we understand how to make a major difference with a small space and even smaller budget!
Planning permissions for listed buildings, gardens and monuments
We are specialists in designs for gardens on historical sites or scheduled monuments, and fully appreciate the myriad of permissions and limitations for any structural alterations, planting or restoration projects. This is not the type of project most garden design companies are happy to tackle, but we welcome the challenge of working on Ancient Scheduled Monuments, Grade I and Grade II listed locations with professionalism, imagination and the right mix of patience and perseverance!
