Our preparations for RHS Chelsea 2022 are in full flight and we are proud to share our garden design for the Gaze Burvill trade stand, which will soon be a reality for visitors to enjoy this year. Once again, our design celebrates our relationship with nature, the importance of the provenance of materials and the idea of entertaining at home in a space that settles our gardens into the local environment by using a generous palette of plants.
The Chelsea display centres around the themes ‘Hampshire Wild’ and ‘Rural Refined’ which will correspond to the two distinct areas of the trade stand.
The front area of the display is a ‘rural refined’ terrace with areas to relax, dine, cook and entertain, the terrace features an A la Carte Outdoor Kitchen with Wolf Grill and Delivita Pizza Oven alongside Gaze Burvill’s dramatic Broadwalk Round Dining Table with a generous seating arrangement.
Gaze Burvill’s new Curved Splash Lounge creates the perfect space for large gatherings and long relaxing afternoons with friends. The bold coloured cushions will reflect Ann-Marie’s beautiful planting bursting around the terrace.
The rear area of the display has been inspired by wild woodland Hampshire and will feature Gaze Burvill’s Woodland Seats and new Woodland Table which was shortlisted for the RHS Sustainable Garden Product of the Year 2021. Full of trees, this area will feel magical and serve as somewhere to sit quietly, reflect or for more intimate conversations. The oak deck will be Gaze Burvill’s raw material oak boards, used to create a really special one off flooring that can also be repurposed once the show has finished.
The tradestand will be constructed by the team at award winning practice Landform, headed up by Mark Gregory.
We cannot wait to get to site to share our late spring planting designs with you!
