Historic Gardens & Landscapes
Historic Gardens & Landscapes are fundamental fixtures embodying Britain’s rich past and vibrant present. We carefully work alongside various historical societies, academics, and researchers to design landscapes and gardens that are beautiful, practical, and lasting. Our award-winning approach focuses on treasuring the past and ensuring the future of Britain’s historic properties can be enjoyed for generations.

Luxury Hotel & Spa Gardens
Hotel and spa landscapes must strike a balance between year-round beauty and seasonal ambience. The goal is to design a landscape that is visually engaging year-round, and with longevity and commercial practicality in mind. Our award-winning approach focuses on enhancing the guest’s journey, ensuring the landscape design becomes a memorable, revenue-generating asset that supports restoration and brand loyalty.

Working with Architects
Good landscape design and good architecture share the same DNA: precision, considered detail, and a deep understanding of how people use space. We work with architects as a fully integrated part of the design team, from early concept through to completion. We work in Vectorworks, understand architectural language, and can support BREEAM assessments and planning submissions.

Small Project Garden Services
These services are designed for clients who want to benefit from our expertise and creativity, but have clear budget parameters or prefer to plant themselves. Choose from three service levels based on your wants and needs, from one-to-one consultations to design packages and standalone planting design. Learn more about how we approach small garden projects.

The Garden Design Process
The garden design process begins with a consultation visit, where we walk the garden together to discuss existing planting, layouts, & your aspirations to envision what could be. From there, several rounds of site analysis, concept development, and feedback ultimately lead to a bespoke master plan. With multiple service levels available, we can find the right approach for you.

Show Garden Design
Show gardens provide a remarkable platform for connecting with engaged audiences. Beginning up to two years before the show, the studio supplies final designs, as well as dedicated management of applications, sponsorships, logistics, and execution. Ann-Marie’s show gardens have earned RHS Gold medals, the BBC People’s Choice Award and inaugural Children’s Choice Award, & more.
