Join us in celebrating our talented team member Penny Walker, for her outstanding achievement in winning a Pro Landscaper ’30 under 30’ award. This prestigious honour recognises the brightest young talents in landscape and horticulture, and Penny has truly earned her place amongst them.

It was brilliant to be able to go to Futurescape at Excel London to celebrate Penny receiving her award and seeing so many interesting products and companies all in one place.

From a very young age, Penny set her sights on a career in landscape, she achieved two RHS Medals before the age of 16 and after graduating with a 1st Class Degree in BA Landscape Architecture from the University of Gloucestershire, followed by a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the same university, Penny joined AMPG as a Junior Landscape Architect in May 2022.

Penny’s dedication, reliability, and unwavering commitment have been evident from the first. Whether it’s going above and beyond for our studio or creating her very first show garden at Gardener’s World Live when she was just 14 years old (yes, seriously!) at the age of 24, Penny has already achieved remarkable successes, and we cannot wait to nurture her talents in the years to come.

From all of us here at the AMPG Studio, congratulations once more, Penny! We are immensely proud of your accomplishments and anticipate nothing but continued success as you forge ahead in our wonderful landscape industry.

It was an honour to celebrate Ann-Marie Powell Garden’s Junior Landscape Architect, Penny Walker, among the other exceptional prize winners who represented our land based industry’s future.

Penny’s achievement showcases the dedication and talent of all the individuals in @prolandscapers 30 under 30 awards, reminding us of how essential it is to support and nurture the emerging talents in our field.

The contributions of these young people will undoubtedly shape the landscapes of tomorrow, creating more sustainable, innovative and beautiful environments for us all.

Congratulations Penny and all the deserving winners!
